Acetylene Hose
Acetylene Hose
Acetylene Hose is a part of welding equipment. The hose is mainly to supply flammable gases such as propane and acetylene to the welding work. The hose is highly resistant to abrasion and aging for a safe use. The color of such hose is always red because red can be the symbol of danger.
Details
Tube: smooth, NR, NBR or EPDM food quality rubber
Reinforcement: High strength synthetic plies
Cover: Blue/green/red, smooth, synthetic rubber
Application: Designed for welding, cutting and relevant processes. Specific welding hose cartering for oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, argon and fuel gases including acetylene, natural gas, methane and propane available upon request.
Temperature: -32℃ to 80℃ (-90℉ to +176℉)
Single line acetylene welding hose. While Red is only for fuel service and is compatible only with acetylene. But blue (green) is only for oxygen service. The non-blooming tube minimizes the migration of combustible waxes or plasticizers to the surface of the rubber. While the multiple plies of textile reinforce makes it flexible. Single line welding hose is available in long continuous lengths. Thus it provis max versatility and ease of handling in a variety of applications where only single line hose is needed. Or where the fuel gas and oxygen sources are separated, while twin line hose is not practical. The cover is resistant to abrasion, heat, mild chemicals and ozone.
