Furnace Hose

Non-Conductive Hose is an industrial cooling/water hose for furnaces in foundries, glassworks, steel mills and other worksites that require a hose to withstand extreme external temperatures. The durable, heat resistant aramid cover withstands steel splashes and external heat radiation to 572°F (300°C). The hose  is non-conductive with a min resistance of one megaohm per inch at 1000 volts DC.

FAQ

What is a furnace hose?

A furnace hose is a type of ducting that is specifically designed to handle high-temperature air and gases in industrial furnace applications. These hoses are typically made of materials that can withstand extreme heat and are reinforced with metal wire or other materials to provide durability and flexibility. They are used to transfer hot air or gases between the furnace and other components, such as heat exchangers, furnaces, and other processing equipment. Furnace hoses are commonly used in a variety of industries, including metalworking, glass manufacturing, and chemical processing.

What is furnace hose used for?

Furnace and kiln connections: Furnace hoses are used to connect industrial furnaces and kilns to other components, such as heat exchangers or process equipment.

Foundry and metalworking applications: Furnace hoses are used to transport hot air and gases in foundries and metalworking facilities, where high temperatures are required to melt and process metals.

Glass manufacturing: Furnace hoses are used in glass manufacturing to transport hot air and gases to and from glass furnaces and annealing ovens.

Chemical processing: Furnace hoses are used in chemical processing plants to transport high-temperature gases and chemicals between different process equipment.
