The function of the brake hose is to replace the original metal oil pipe, which can freely transmit the pressure to achieve the braking effect. The steel hose is composed of PVC, stainless steel and PTFE, and the expansion coefficient is zero. Therefore, it can not only ensure the high-pressure transmission of brake oil, but also effectively prevent the impact of high-pressure oil on the rubber pipe and weaken the braking force.

What can be an excellent brake hose

1. Under normal circumstances, the original rubber hose will expand a little when the brake is stepped on. While this will weaken the initial braking response. Switching to a steel hose can improve these phenomena.

2. It must be soft. Because the suspension will expand and contract. If the brake hose is rigid, it will break when suspended.

3. It cannot be elastic. Because when the brake oil is squeezed to generate pressure, the elastic brake hose will expand and absorb the pressure. This causes the pressure of the brake oil to be weakened when it is transmitted to the caliper, which directly leads to a longer braking distance.

4. It must be heat-resistant. The brake oil will generate high heat, and the heat-intolerant brake hose will be damaged due to high heat, causing the brake oil to leak and burst.
