Why not choose PVC hoses?
In fact, many ice cream companies are still using PVC hoses. However, after working at minus 10° for a period of time, the PVC hose becomes hard and brittle. After being rinsed with 60° hot water, it becomes very soft. Over time, the PVC hose will not only lose its softness, but also release plasticizer. Therefore, PVC hoses are not suitable for this industry.
Rubber hoses

Silicone hoses
In the actual processing of ice cream, silicone hose is more popular. Because silicone hose is soft and have a high degree of tortuosity. So it can effectively cooperate with the small movements of processing equipment.
Why choose hoses with good oil resistance?
The cream content in ice cream is relatively high. So you must use a hose with better oil resistance. Otherwise, the hose may break due to grease, which may lead to material leakage. In this case, EPDM hose and UPE hose can be more better.
